What is myopia management/ myopia control?

• It is a set of strategies and treatments aimed at slowing the progression of myopia (nearsightedness), particularly in children and young adults. Myopia occurs when the eye grows too long, causing light to focus in front of the retina rather than directly on it. This results in blurry distance vision.
